Description

This document is the first annual statistical summary for the Carolinian Province estuaries component of the nationwide Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program (EMAP). EMAPEstuaries in the Carolinian Province is jointly sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The program is being administered through the NOAA Carolinian Province Office in Charleston, South Carolina and implemented through partnerships with a combination of federal and state agencies, universities, and the private sector.
