Elizabeth Harris

Harris serves as an environmental scientist for laboratory and in-field mesocosm system studies. Harris began working in the Ecotoxicology Branch in December of 2022 and spends her time helping set up mesocosm experiments, maintain mesocosm systems, and assist graduate students and fellows with thesis studies and other projects.

Harris received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Lynn University in 2019 and her Masters of Science in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2022. While studying at TAMUCC, Harris was a NOAA CCME Graduate Scholar and partook in a NERTO (NOAA Experiential Research and Training Opportunity) under the supervision and mentorship of Dr. Marie DeLorenzo. The NOAA CCME program and NERTO paved the way for her position in Ecotoxicology today.
