A new agreement between NOAA and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) allows these agencies to work more closely together to help coastal communities become more resilient. The agencies will share resources, tools, and information, as well as undertake joint projects and activities, to address a variety of issues involving climate change, sustainability, and the protection of coastal ecosystems. Offices involved include NOAA's Coastal Services Center, Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management, National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science, and National Sea Grant College Program, as well as EPA's Office of Sustainable Communities and Office of Wetlands, Oceans and Watersheds.
